Menu
Welcome Toast
- Sparkling Wine
First Course
- Wild Mushroom Arancini
- Pink Vodka sauce, Parmesan cheese
Mer Soleil ‘Reserve’ Chardonnay – Monterey County: Notes of Meyer lemon zest and a whiff of the Pacific Ocean. Fresh and vibrant, with a character that also suggests creaminess. On the palate, soft and creamy on entry, then a wisp of fresh, natural acidity that enlivens the mouth. Flavors of Mandarin orange, a touch of honeysuckle, and the faintest hint of apricot.
Second Course
- Spinach Salad
- Warm bacon vinaigrette, Honeycrisp apples, dried cherries, blue cheese crumbles
Caymus Suisun ‘The Walking Fool’ Red Blend – Suisun Valley: Notes of ripe strawberry mingled with notes of dried cranberry, a whiff of vanilla and espresso, plus a hint of new leather. On the palate, vibrant cherry, dried cranberry, and spice cabinet notes, with pomace on the finish. Earthy with a balanced, soft texture. A lingering freshness calls you back for another sip.
Third Course
- Braised Short Rib
- Tamarind demi-glace, Smoked Gouda potato cake
Caymus Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley: The wine opens with an elegant perfume of mixed berries, baking spice, dried lavender, and thyme, leading to a full palate layered with expansive mixed-berry, black tea, toasted oak, and spice flavors. Focused and fresh, with fine-grained tannins that support the wine throughout, the finish is silky, long, and lifted.
Fourth Course
- Salted Caramel Bread Pudding
- Cranberries, orange zest, whipped cream
Nurseryman Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley: A dark black plum, this Cabernet features scents of wild sage, mocha, caramel, custard, wild berries, and worn leather. A barrel bouquet of French oak adds dimension. Entry is plush, round, supple, and mouth-filling. The texture of this wine is fine, rich, and soft, helping to define the palate. Lasting on the finish, with hints of baking cocoa powder and espresso bean and ripe plum.
