Popular Types of Roasted Prime Rib
J. Alexander’s offers several different preparations of roasted prime rib on our menu. You can order the classic slow-roasted prime rib, featuring aged beef from mid-western farms served au jus with potatoes and seasonal vegetables. We also serve a delicious French dip sandwich with sliced prime rib and horseradish on baguette, perfect for a midday lunch.
Roasted Prime Rib Ingredients and Sourcing Info
Our roasted prime rib features premium ingredients, including aged mid-western beef. We source our beef only from plants in the American mid-west because the climate allows cows raised in this region to experience all four seasons, which leads to better marbling and flavor in the beef. Our beef is 100% corn-fed, which also allows for a better depth of flavor than grass-fed beef.
Roasted Prime Rib Health Benefits
There are many health benefits to a premium cut of prime rib. Lean cuts of high-quality beef are high in essential nutrients and comparatively low in calories. Roasted prime rib is an excellent source of protein, iron, vitamin B12, zinc, and selenium, all of which contribute to increased energy and, when consumed in moderation, a healthy heart.
Roasted Prime Rib Customer Review
The roasted prime rib was so delicious, it literally melted in my mouth. When I finished, I almost immediately ordered a second, it was that good.

Best Drinks and Sides with Roasted Prime Rib
The roasted prime rib is best served with a preparation of potatoes, as the starch does well to complement the high protein and healthy fat content of the beef. A side of seasonal vegetables also works wonders to add freshness to the plate. Ask your server which of our rotating wine and cocktail specials would best compliment your roasted prime rib.
